Six Feet Under Synopsis


Six Feet Under is about the story of Nathaniel "Nate" Fisher Jr., eldest son of a funeral director who, after his father's death, becomes a partner in the family business with his brother, David. The Fisher family also include Nathaniel Sr.'s wife, Ruth and children, David and Clare. Others also include the family friend and mortician, Federico Diaz, Nate Jr's girlfriend and eventual wife, Brenda Chenowith, and Keith, David's boyfriend.

Six feet under was aired from June 3, 2001 to August 21, 2005 in HBO. The series won the Emmy Awards for the Outstanding Casting for Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama series, and many more. For the Golden Globe, it won Best Performance by an actress in a Supporting Role and Best TV series in 2002, and Best Performance by an actress in 2004. It also won in Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, etc.
